7tv Pulp: ‘The Tainting of The Mothers Milk’

*INTRO*

“Folks tend not to stray too close to the railyard o’er yonder. Yessir, way I see it is those Mc’Poyles keep to them sells and so shud we.” The old man spat into the dirt, his grey eyes trailing into the dying light of day. “Yep, people that go up y’onder don’t tend to come back y’ see.” The old man turned back to face the four men on horses, their figures hidden by shade.“Stay away I tell ye’, for the sake o’ yer very souls.”

“I believe you’re mistaken old man.” A flash of red shone through the dusk like wild fire across the scorching plains. Sue stepped from shadow. His red shirt catching the sun as he drew his horse level with the stranger; the old man gazed into the dark pits of Sue’s eyes. “For where we’ve been,” Sue lit a smoke as Gorgeous George, Buckshot Bill, and Baby Face John rode up behind him, “not the devil himself would fancy a drink with us.”

The four figures rode past the old man until they reached the damned hill at the edge of town. The old man’s bones shivered as he watched. Four shadows stood as black as night against the crimson sky and as they descended into darkness; all hell followed with them.

*SYNOPSIS*

or if you’re bored of me waffling just scroll down to the comic…

The local citizens of Shrewtsville County enjoyed a peaceful life of hard work, fine women, and even finer whiskey. They lived an easy life, unaware to a growing evil lurking within their midst. Festering in incest and degeneracy, Ma’ Mc Poyle envisions her family spreading their seed across the United States and one day ruling over the whole land. To do this, she created Mothers Milk, a drink that over time consumes the mind, causing the victim to fall into a deep psychosis. Degraded into gibbering lunatics, they become responsive only to the mother herself, and to those whom share the Mc Poyle’s bloodline.

With more and more of Shrewtsville County citizens going missing, the local Sheriff Lenny and his cowardly Deputy Carl call in the most feared outfit of Lawmen to have ever trodden god’s dirt. Led by the Boy named Sue, the fierce gun fighters ride over to the Mc Poyle’s secret hideout. They must brave the sinister soil of the Mc Poyle’s land, investigate the missing persons, and uncover the truth about the Tainting of the Mothers Milk!

SET UP

Set up using The Race Scenario where both teams rush to get their hands on the Mothers Milk. The defenders being the Mc Poyles and The Law being the attackers. My missus didn’t fancy being a band of incest hillbilly’s; fortunately that suited me fine!

2.5ft x 4ft table.

(Mguffin) A silo of ‘Mothers Milk’ placed centre set. The Mc Poyle’s will gladly die before the Law gets their hands on their disgraceful concoction.

(Objective Tokens) Bottles of Mothers Milk, placed at various locations around the Set. The Mc Poyle’s must retrieve their stockpiles before the Law impounds them as evidence.

(Peril: Poisonous Gas) Great plumes billow from the Mothers Milk and the clouds poison all who stumble into their midst.

Being relatively new to the wonderful worlds of wargaming I have very limited scenery! The the whole set is comprised from a gate house, bunker and barriers from the L.C.A Defensive Lines range.https://www.lasercutarchitect.co.uk/index.php?cPath=7_13 (They do some pretty cool stuff!)

ALSO DEFFO CHECK OUT the amazing range at Crooked Dice Studios who’ve blessed us with this amazing game! https://crooked-dice.co.uk/
