*SYNOPSIS*
Once a year, hidden away from the preying eyes of the general masses, 10 warriors must fight each other to earn their shot against the reigning champion Mr. Shang. They are The Chosen. Dug up from all walks of life they enter the tournament for different reasons. Some seek fame in the criminal underworld, some seek the power it brings and others seek nothing more than the ecstasy of bone crunching beneath their fists. For victory promises The Chosen One riches beyond comprehension.
But when the reigning champion Mr. Shang loses his first bout, he calls upon the sinister forces that broil beneath the thin veneer of our world. Five rifts burst open, bridging the gap into a twisted plane where demons reign. The Chosen must put aside their differences, gather up their strength, and find a way to close the portals. Before the demons tear into our world, and the Demagorgon comes for us all!

Red Widow: Employed by a secret government organisation who prevent paranormal and extraterrestrial assaults on our world. Red Widow enters the tournament to investigate Mr. Shang. Costumed Champion
The Gun: An orphan raised as a test subject by Russian Spetznaz officers. At the age of 14 she murdered her superiors and fled to live a life as a bounty killer. The Gun is hired by a shadow organisation to kill Red Widow. Soldier of Fortune.
Lucky Joey: When escape plans don’t quite work out, you end up in an underground death tournament with viscous gangsters trying to murder you! Having stolen confidential material from a local mob boss, Lucky Joey’s frantic escape leads him to the tournament and in panic, a place as one of the combatants. Working Stiff
Fat Patsy: A criminal mob boss at war with the Triads. This ruthless deviant tracks Lucky Joey’s location and plans to kill him at the tournament before he can escape with incriminating files. Mob Boss
Bobby Brooklyn: Born and raised on the streets. Bobby always looked after her younger brother; even if it meant cutting throats, breaking bones and becoming a champion at illegal underground death fights. Hired by Fat Patsy, she is ordered to kill Lucky Joey. Prize Fighter
Bruce Brooklyn: The younger brother to Bobby. This baseball bat wielding hoodlum now acts as a negotiator for Fat Patsy. He loves money, his sister, and removing teeth with 49oz of maple wood. Mobster
Kemuri: A devout and loyal member of the Triads. This master of death is only employed for top assignments. Kemuri enters the tournament in order to retrieve the incriminating files from Lucky Joey. Master of Shadows
Dr. Ivanovich: This unfortunate scientist ingested a serum that transformed him permanently into a beast. He enters the tournament purely for the prize money, hoping to reverse the transformation and hold his child once again. Beastman Snarler
The Puppet: A cold, calculated killer. The Puppets thoughts and motives are unknown. Only that it was created by the Yakuza, and it murdered all whom gave it life. Mechanical Man
Monkai: A newly promoted Red Pole in the Triads. The gargantuan gangster enters the competition to prove himself worthy of his rank, and simply to enjoy smashing a few skulls. Tribal Chief
*COMIC*
My first attempt at playing the Solo Rules for 7tv Pulp and I had a crap tonne of fun playing this game. It provided a much needed distraction from the shroud of Covid looming outside the window.
The solo rules can be found on the crooked dice website and best of all they’re FREE!!! No monies to be paid at all which is always pretty sound. And with endless scope for imagination, i’m already planning and looking forward to executing my next game soon.
